A glossary of prominent people to me in school life:

N: Someone who's really quiet to strangers, but recently been talking a lot of intellectual stuff to me, which i like. Classmate.
JC: A worthless creep who thinks he's top of the world. Classmate.
TC: A loud, noisy shrew with an annoying screechy soundtrack for brains. Classmate.
BK: Just your typical regular fucktard, who hangs with JC and TC. Classmate.
GL: The funniest guy ever, who should quit school and join the circus for a lifelong employment as a clown. Classmate.
JA: One really sharp-tongued, but lovable girl. Classmate.
ST: Really eccentric girl who can match me in eccentricity. Classmate.
LF, EL, and WR: A group of 3 girls who are cute, but unfortunately lacking in brains. Classmates.
D: A current crush i have, back from the days of the Opening Ceremony. OC.

Well, Night Study is a total failure for me this week. What studying? I used all this time to finish up my homework, and did no fucking revision. And even then i got way too distracted by the people around me, studying. What the fuck was Q thinking when he said that people studying can motivate you to study? Blaargh.

Oh....Q? Q's the prinicipal. Pioneers will know what that means.

Anyway, there's this classmate, N, who i found had some interesting details about her life she shared with me. She's a really interesting person, and well, yesterday i confirmed my suspicion that she was really an intelligent person underneath her coldness. Now we talk quite a lot about things, and well, it's good to have someone who can stretch your intellectual powers, unlike CERTAIN people in class. About the juicy details....never mind. What, you think i'm really going to bare all about her?

To have squirrels running around in Pioneer JC isn't that new. I mean, the college really is very close by to wildland. What i did not expect today, however, was a monkey running around the compound.

o_O

Weird, huh?

Haven't been blogging much lately. But what else is there to say? Monday, stayed for Night Study, it wasn't too bad. Today, it was fruitless. I just couldn't study.

I'm gonna skip tomorrow's. I'm getting too little sleep, and it shows.

About 2 days ago, Brazil won the Copa America. This, after the new "Germany", Greece, won the Euro. Brazil, the epitome of style. Brazil, the champion of the Beautiful Game. Brazil, the only team in the world who can field a B team and win a tournament. Brazil.

The Beautiful Game has hope yet.

Well, i've finally put up the new poem. It's not that original, but hey.

Wednesday, July 21, 2004

Well, it's been pretty quiet in here lately, huh? After all, there's really nothing much of importance to say. I've written a new poem, but i'm not putting it up too soon. I came clean about my results, and well, i got a lecture, as expected. And now i have to go for a compulsory Self-Study programme, but so does almost everyone else.

Ah well. Be back later.

A new poem. Finally. Sorry for the recent lack of inspiration.

Economics essay, failed. European history, failed. Gothic literature, failed.

........................................................................................

And it's no consolation that people are generally doing as bad as me.

........................................................................................

Damned damned damned. Even D was worried. Wondered how'd she do?

Well, guess i'll have to play hide-and-seek for the weekend.

Wednesday, July 07, 2004

Well, i've finished my period of examinations. I'm pretty certain my economics DRQ is a gone case, but otherwise i'm pretty happy about the rest.

About a day ago, Portugal met its own Greek tragedy. They lost to the Greeks, the new German team, the new proponents of boring, negative football. The Greeks win the Euro championship, but the world has lost, because from now on, anti-football has been proven to be better than the Beautiful Game.

The world has met its Greek tragedy. Portugal is just the first victim.

Well, i was reading "The Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown today. I'm almost done with it, just after buying it yesterday (can you imagine?), and, whew, that's a damned good read. Well, i can't explain it all at once, but i can offer this.

People who should not be reading "The Da Vinci Code":
-Christian fundamentalists
-People like Juan
-People with narrow minds

People who should be reading "The Da Vinci Code":
-People who enjoy controversy
-People who can question Christianity
-People who can theorize

There, that's all i have to say.

Today is a good day, by most standards. First thing, although i thought the PC exam was going to be hard when i first saw it, inspiration eventually returned to me, and i wrote what was by my standards a fairly good effort. Then, I managed to get D talking like i remembered her to, and well, that felt good (ok, i'm a loser, sue me). Finally, i met Huixin, a BPGHS alumni, and it was good talking to her. It really was a blast from the past, and it helped me some. Too bad the day had to end with an extremely noisy family gathering.
